What Porter Ranch does to a car
Canary Island pines line Rinaldi Street from the 19000 to the 19700 block and drip sap on cars parked underneath, and Sesnon Boulevard is planted with bottlebrush, Australian willow and sweetgum. When the Saddleridge Fire broke out in Sylmar in October 2019, Santa Ana gusts of up to 60 mph at higher elevations pushed embers across the 5 and started spot fires in the Porter Ranch foothills. The October 2008 Sesnon Fire started near the Oat Mountain oil fields just north of the neighborhood.
Most Porter Ranch homes sit inside gated, master-planned communities, and some, like Renaissance, only let in visitors who are on a guest list. City of LA rules also only allow a home wash with a self-closing hose nozzle and no runoff into the street. We bring our own water and power and do the work in your driveway or garage once we're through the gate.
