California pepper trees on Whitsett Avenue drip sap from their bark and carry berries year-round, and the 6500 and 6700 blocks of Coldwater Canyon are planted with Chinese elms and tall blue gum eucalyptus. Gumballs and loose leaves come off in the pre-rinse and wash. Pepper sap that has dried on gets a solvent soak and a clay bar on that panel first. That adds a little time, so it's easier to deal with while the sap is fresh.
